i'm suddenly feeling so bad. the life is not what i expected since i was back, i'm worried that i have been changed by the life here, and have to bare from it, that's so bad. i suddenly realized something i did anticipate that is going to close the door to me even the window is closing too. it's so bad.

i think it's time to think how to get rid of it, or how to plan the rest of my life, i really need do that.

whatever i just get back

seems it's quite long time not writing here, even far longer than saying quite, whatever. just being blocked of this Google blog service so i had jumped to another Chinese mainland blog service called Blog Bus, they used to be quite good, but i decided quit from there due to an unfair contest they made, i just thought they are not that cool like they pretend revealing toward the public, and just like being crap as the same as most business running in China. well, i know they have to be like that, i just don't appreciate at all, so i said Bye and quited from axxhxle blog bus, it's no more blog bus.

all right, actually i re-write here is just seeing a brilliant texts via web, it's really inspriated, i mean i'm sort of living in the same situation now, have to do something what i don't want to do or be, kinds of painfully baring now. it's ok, i believe it's just like the process towarding something, somewhere.

why this is not another new start?

i don't wanna name the title as new start anymore, it's not anything new, or new is nothing somehow.

and i've been fear for 2 days, because i could not log on my blog at all, and yesterday i just felt maybe anyting is wrong on the browser or sort of gate things on the computer, but tonight it still not works. and 10 minutes early i got to know the reason is i have been back my hometown beijing, in china, it's in china, everything is possible. and i did the google and found that, it 's not the uncommon things, there is alot bloger-user who have not been use it for long, or they could not use it at all, anymore, and they are too live in china.

fortunately, i can use it now, but it does not that work anymore ...

new start

i spent almost 3 hours to modify my blogger, removing the nav bar and changing the font size and color, it's actually like boring, maybe i did, i;d rather to treat as a new start, i'm not pretty sure why i 'm using tomyangdesign.will, but i might be able to feel sth inside deeply, which encouraging me up forward, i like it a little )

at least i can continue to write sth here.

I haven't write here for quite long time, i was being busy for last days, right now it's ok, this term has finished and i got a term break, but i felt a bit bored, and starting to yearn the time i was busy, this term is good, i think i got many things to learn, and did a quite nice job, but i dont want to be orgulous, i think actually i did not reach the level which i might achieve, i know i cant complain too much, did i really put the 100% effort on it? i dont think i did.

anyway, i dont want to write this kind of content here, i just want to show what i have done, and what i can do.

the package design

this is a project from my class to design a mooncake package for a restaurant, the USP of this product is its unique greentea and mint flavor and low sugar.

According to my research and think, i found that this is a health food, and how to enhance that, to present a health living that is my aim. then, i chose the bembo shape as this product package design.

firstly, beside the color and design, the shape of product is the most and primary element to grab comsumer's attention in the market, and compare to the traditional mooncake packaging design, the most of them are qutie compicated and stereotype, always flowers, moon shape something, it might be boring, so i decided to do an experimental and simple design, thus using the bembo shape as its box.

secondly, the mid-autum festival is a typical chinese festival and very eastern style, and the bembo is also the chinese cultural element in the eastern culture, and in the ancient age it had a quotation that "people can eat without meat, can not live without bembo", that also proves how bembo is important for the health living in the chinese culture!

at last, the bembo is the best choice for this experimental packaging design, and the result also proves that, my lecture was quite satisfied of my work.



the magazine design

this class is great, i learnd alot from that, it's as good as the typo2 class, i learnd far more than just do the magazine design, i got a few things imporant and useful to inspire me, it supposes that i'm able to know who i am and where i am. i got a quite nice result, but i think i can go far futher than this, at least i can see how potential i'm and also create the confidence for me.

branding at the world cup 2006

The world cup has launched in Germany, and the matchs are really exciting.

anyway, do u ever observe the advertisement board which are around the field? i did, it's amazing for me, there are certainly put on the big company brand such as, Coca cola,Mcdonald's, adidas, toshiba, fujifilm and soon, those are really huge company,and some company have changed their logo, for example,FUJIFILM, i remember fujifilm has a logo before using the transformative types and combined together with its name, white color on the green background. It used to show on the ad board before whenever, but this time, i saw they just use the company name.

I don't know the reason about that , but in my opinion, i think it's really advanced decision. maybe fujifilm changed their logo to become a logotype which just uses designed types to present the company identity. Actually, the words is far more understandable than graphic elements, u can image when u drive a car on the street, u will look at the billborad, if a company show the logo here, u might not remember that, it's too fast and the logo is not easy to be recalled, then if there is a logotype using types of the company name, at least u will know what that company call , right? words is more advanced to compare with the symbol, that's why the words replaced the symbolic period in the past history.

Then, we can find there are a lot of company especially the big company designed their logo using the logo type rather than graphic approach at present. It is able to make the company identity looks simple, but easy to remember and understood, that's the new trend or effective approach to design a logo, and also has been a new challenge for typography and the designer.
